Whether you’re 3 or 103, bullying is never okay. We usually hear about kids dealing with bullies at school or on the playground, but did you know bullying happens to adults, too? 😢 It sneaks into workplaces, social groups, and even online. No matter where it shows up, it stings—and here at The Buzzy B, we’re saying NO MORE! 🐝✋

What Is Bullying, Anyway?

Bullying isn’t just teasing or a mean joke once in a while. It’s repeated, intentional behavior that hurts, scares, or controls someone else. 😡
It can look like:
💭 Name-calling or insults
🙅‍♀️ Purposefully leaving people out
👊 Physical harm or threats
📱 Cyberbullying (mean messages online)
💼 Gossip, rumors, or intimidation

If it makes someone feel small, scared, or unsafe—it’s bullying. And it’s never okay.

Bullying Isn’t Just a “Kid Thing”

Bullying doesn’t end when childhood does. Adults experience it, too:
➡️ In the workplace (think passive-aggressive comments, gossip, or public shaming)
➡️ In social groups (being excluded or manipulated)
➡️ Online (harassment, trolling, and bullying behind screens)
➡️ In public spaces (rude comments or behaviors meant to embarrass)

No matter where it happens, it’s hurtful—and no one deserves that.

Why We MUST Speak Up 🗣️

If we see it, we need to say something! Whether you’re a kid or an adult, ignoring bullying gives it power.
✔️ Speak up if you feel safe to do so.
✔️ Tell someone you trust.
✔️ Show kindness and be an example of respect. 🌟

When we stand together, bullying loses its sting! 🐝💛

How to Handle a Bully (Kid or Adult)

🧘‍♀️ Stay calm. Bullies want a reaction—don’t give it to them.
🚷 Set clear boundaries. Say, “This isn’t okay.”
👥 Find your support team. No one has to handle bullying alone.
📝 Report it. Tell a teacher, boss, HR, or someone in charge.

Here in our buzzing Colorado community, there’s an amazing organization making a difference: Aedyn’s Backpack Club!
Started by Aedyn, a courageous young man who experienced bullying himself, this nonprofit is all about spreading kindness, fighting bullying, and helping victims feel supported. 💛

🎒 They collect backpacks, school supplies, and essentials to help kids in need.
🎗️ They promote kindness first and encourage kids to stand up for one another.
🙌 They’re proof that one person (no matter their age!) can change the world for the better.
