Floating Beads Jar
Ingredients:
1 clear plastic jar with lid (16 oz works great)
1/4 cup clear glue or glitter glue
Warm water (enough to fill the jar)
1 tablespoon glitter (various colors)
1 teaspoon baby oil or glycerin (optional for slow motion effect)
1/4 cup floating plastic beads (lightweight pony beads or foam beads work well)
Food coloring (optional)
Super glue (to seal lid, optional but recommended)
Directions:
Pour the clear glue into the bottom of the clean jar.
Add a few drops of food coloring if desired, and stir until combined.
Sprinkle in the glitter and mix well.
Add the floating beads to the jar.
Slowly pour in warm water, leaving about an inch of space at the top.
Add baby oil or glycerin to slow the movement of the beads and glitter.
Seal the lid tightly. For safety (especially with young children), add a few drops of super glue around the inside of the lid and screw it on tightly.
Shake the jar to see the beads float and swirl in mesmerizing patterns!
