The May Natural History Museum, affectionately nicknamed the “Bug Museum”, is a hidden gem and the perfect destination to celebrate Insect Week! With over 7,000 species of insects — from giant beetles and vibrant butterflies to rare and weird bugs from around the world — this place will have kids wide-eyed and totally bugged out (in the best way)! 🦗🎉

Grab a notebook, magnifying glass, and a bug jar — then head to your backyard, local park, or favorite trail. See how many bugs you can identify! Ants, beetles, butterflies, and even worms count! 🪱🏞️
