serves: 6 • cook: 3–4 hrs low

you’ll need: 2 lb baby potatoes (halved), 1 lb chicken thighs, ⅓ cup honey, ¼ cup soy sauce, 2 tbsp ketchup, 3 cloves garlic (or 1 tsp powder).
how: potatoes on bottom → chicken on top → whisk sauce, pour → cook low 4 hrs. broil chicken 3–5 min for sticky edges (optional).
veg boost: toss in baby carrots during the last hour.


3) chicken taco bowls 🌮

serves: 6 • cook: 4 hrs low
you’ll need: 1½ lb chicken breast, 1 jar salsa (16 oz), 1 can black beans (rinsed), 1 cup corn, 1 tsp cumin.
how: dump, cook, shred. serve over rice with cheese + avocado.
mild kid tip: use mild salsa; swirl in sour cream.


4) pizza-pasta casserole 🍕🍝

serves: 6–8 • cook: 2–3 hrs low
you’ll need: 12 oz dry pasta, 24 oz marinara, 2 cups water, 1 tsp Italian seasoning, 1–2 cups shredded mozzarella, optional mini pepperoni.
how: pasta + sauce + water + seasoning → cook low 2–2½ hrs, stir once → top with cheese (+ pepperoni), cover 10–15 min to melt.
veg sneak: stir in chopped spinach.


5) turkey veggie chili 🦃🌶️

serves: 6 • cook: 4–6 hrs low
you’ll need: 1 lb ground turkey (browned, optional), 1 can kidney beans, 1 can black beans, 1 can corn, 1 can diced tomatoes, 1 cup salsa, 1 tbsp chili powder, 1 tsp cumin, salt.
how: dump, cook, taste, done. serve with chips + cheese.
no-spice: use mild chili powder and extra tomatoes.


6) mac & cheese (hands-off) 🧀

serves: 6 • cook: 2–3 hrs low
you’ll need: 12 oz elbow pasta, 3 cups milk, 1 cup evaporated milk (or half-and-half), 3 cups shredded cheddar, 2 tbsp butter, ½ tsp salt.
how: everything in except 1 cup cheese → cook low 2–2½ hrs, stir every 45 min → sprinkle remaining cheese, cover 10 min.
creamy tip: add 2 oz cream cheese.


7) bbq pulled chicken sliders 🥪

serves: 6–8 • cook: 3–4 hrs low
you’ll need: 2 lb chicken breast, 1½ cups BBQ sauce, ¼ cup apple juice or water, 1 tsp onion powder.
how: cook, shred, sauce. serve on rolls with pickles.
sweet & tangy: stir in 1 tbsp brown sugar + 1 tsp mustard.


8) meatball marinara subs (zero prep) 🍝🥖

serves: 6 • cook: 3–4 hrs low
you’ll need: 1 bag frozen meatballs (24–32 oz), 24–32 oz marinara, 1 tsp Italian seasoning, hoagie rolls, provolone or mozzarella.
how: sauce + seasoning + meatballs → cook → pile into rolls, add cheese.
party trick: switch to tiny slider buns.


9) beef stroganoff (kid-mild) 🥩🍄

serves: 6 • cook: 6–7 hrs low
you’ll need: 2 lb stew beef, 1 can cream of mushroom soup, 1 cup beef broth, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp paprika, 8 oz cream cheese or ¾ cup sour cream (at end), 12 oz egg noodles (boiled separately).

serves: 6 • cook: 3–4 hrs low
you’ll need: 10–12 corn tortillas, 2 cups cooked chicken (or beans), 2 cups enchilada sauce, 2 cups shredded cheese, 1 can black beans (rinsed), 1 cup corn.
how: layer sauce → tortillas → filling → cheese; repeat 3–4 layers → cook low 3–4 hrs. slice like pie.
taco-bellies: top with sour cream + lettuce.


12) broccoli cheddar potato soup 🥦🧀

serves: 6 • cook: 4–5 hrs low
you’ll need: 4 cups diced potatoes, 2 cups broccoli florets, 1 small onion (optional), 3 cups chicken or veg broth, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 cup milk, 2 cups shredded cheddar, salt/pepper.
how: everything in except milk/cheese → cook low 4 hrs → mash a bit → stir in milk + cheese till melty.
